Hopes.Careers.Dreams.Goals in life.
There was a time my lovely akhwat sent me a birthday card with a note:
....'' The path of life is unfolding before you''...
As i trudged my way in the snowy path back to my house( i was in the UK that time), i read the saying many times for i liked the significant message underlied in such a simple statement. Life is full of choices indeed, plus the ups and downs that paints our happiness, sufferings, thraumas that we have never expected to be marked in our life calendar. The world is not own solely to us but is lended by Allah swt who is THE RIGHTFUL owner. Our strengths and successes are granted by Him, The Most Supreme. For that, we should never forget to get ourselves humble, grateful and thankful each day and night. A simple task that we always overlook its significance, because we are humans with an awful lots of weaknesses.
Still, we are taught to pin up hopes, dreams, work hard on polishing up our career and to have sensible goals in life. These words are parts of our life..our path that unfolds many opportunities, breakdowns, successes, failures but hey, this is what we called L.I.F.E. Some of us might have been so lucky for his/her path has been a perfectly smooth one since the very beginning. However, many of us experienced the bittersweet moments trying our best to paint our own life paralel to the ideals that we hugely believed in. Thanks to the islamic values, we Muslims are taught not to give up easily while facing the challenges in life. By looking forward with great courage and take the challenges as a test from Allah swt, Muslims never failed to give up hopes for...
...'' Tempat bergantung yang hakiki hanyalah Allah, dan hidup kita adalah untuk bertemu dengan-Nya''...
(adapted from Fi Zilal Al-Quran, written by Sayyid Qutb)
I love the fact that i am about to assign myself as a full-fledged teacher. I love kids and i wish to make their dreams come true. Of course i want them to learn and live well, but also to instil these essential values of ..
BRAVERY.COURAGE. HONEST.
Bravery taught the kids not to surrender and give up easily in life.
Courage taught them to be strong in times of despair.
And honesty taught them to lead a blissful life full of 'berkah.
We made plans in life for a better living so as to mark our way to a promising future. But hey, variables and compromises are not to be forgotten. HUMANS are social beings that depend on one another to seek advices, opinions, suggestions on ways to solve our daily problems. So having compromises to reach an agreeable decision should be taken as a useful alternative for making our duties easier to be accomplished. Everyone has a duty ..for life is a journey that starts with a duty and ends with the duty.
Note: Lend me your strength, Ya Rabb...for i need that strength to accomplish my 'duty'.
