~Syawal 2005: UK MSD building, London~We travelled from Plymouth to London for this mission. Attending the Syawal feast held by the MSD officers for Malaysian's community in the UK. I could still remember the panicked faces of the officers for the shortage of staffs to serve the 'aromatic' rendang, ketupat, kuah kacang, nasi beriyani, ayam pedas, acar and etc in the Worchester Hall. And you know what happened next?
Instead of being the guest of honour, we were the ones who did the servings for our Malaysians!
Huhu..wish i had that photo in action of that moment. It would nice to rekindle the memory of being the ' bidan terjun' helpers! Anyway, i felt glad of volunteering so, because the people thanked and wished me 'Selamat Hari Raya!!' in a hearty manner...hmm,would it be the effect of the delicious food in front of them?=)
